Polycom VVX 300 / 301 / 310 / 311 Setup and Key Map
The Polycom VVX 300-series (300/301/310/311 — the variants differ in gigabit pass-through and firmware generation) is a 6-line-key, mono-screen desk phone common in back offices and shared spaces. Flows match the VVX 400; this page notes what's specific to the 3xx.
At a glance
VVX 300/301 | VVX 310/311 | |
|---|---|---|

PC pass-through | 10/100 | Gigabit (310/311) |
Sidecar support | Yes | Yes |
Six keys fit an extension plus a handful of BLF/park assignments; role phones needing a fuller BLF wall belong on a 12-key model or a sidecar.
Everyday flows
Identical to the VVX 400: Transfer (then Blind for blind), Confrnc for three-way, Hold, DND, Messages. The mono screen abbreviates labels — keep line-key labels short ("Park 1", not "Parking Slot One").
Reset and provisioning
Family procedures on the VVX series page. Note that 3xx units in the field are often the oldest phones on an account — if a unit boot-loops after reset or won't take current firmware, retire it rather than fight it; replacement models provision in minutes.
